The short answer: when an auction runs nine days, the hard part isn't the auction. It's every trip around it. A comfortable van that belongs to your group turns airport runs, hotel pickups, dinners and repeat days at the venue into one easy routine.
What's confirmed for 2027
Barrett-Jackson's official 2027 Scottsdale event page lists January 23–31, 2027 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, 16601 N Pima Rd. The Scottsdale tickets page shows gates opening at 8 a.m. and running until the auction closes each day.
The company's announcement of the expanded schedule describes nine days across two weekends, more than 2,000 vehicles, and added family programming. That's a long week, and most groups won't spend every day the same way.
One clear note: owning or riding in a luxury van gives you no special event access. It doesn't come with parking, tickets, VIP status, bidder or consignment privileges, or shuttle rights, and it implies no affiliation with Barrett-Jackson. Follow the current organizer and venue rules for arrival, parking and drop-off.
Why one van fits a nine-day week
- Arrivals spread out. Guests land on different flights. One van can collect people as they come, with room for luggage.
- Hotel to venue becomes routine. The same seats, the same chargers, the same cooler every morning. Nobody coordinates rideshares.
- Dinners stay together. After a long day on the floor, the group leaves together and keeps talking.
- Split days are easy. Some people want the opening weekend, others the closing one. A van flexes around who's going when.
- Hosting looks effortless. For business owners bringing clients, a quiet, finished cabin says more than a line of cars.

Small things that matter in Scottsdale in January
- Layered comfort. Desert mornings can be cool and afternoons warm. A cabin with good climate control matters on repeat days.
- Seats you'd sit in all week. Captain's chairs and real legroom pay off on the fifth day, not the first.
- Storage for purchases and paperwork. Catalogs, jackets and bags pile up fast.
- A calm driver plan. Decide who drives, or how, before the week begins.
The bigger picture
If your group travels to events like this every year, a finished luxury van stops being a trip expense and starts being part of how you host. That's the case for owning one.
