Championship golf is back on the Monterey Peninsula. The 2027 U.S. Open returns to Pebble Beach Golf Links for championship rounds June 17–20, 2027, with the full championship week running June 14–20. According to Pebble Beach's official event hub, it will be the seventh U.S. Open played on this coastline — and for many groups, the smartest way to do the week is to treat the journey itself as part of the occasion.
A luxury passenger van won't get you special access to anything. What it does is make every mile between the airport, the resort, dinners, and the course feel like part of the trip instead of the logistics between highlights.
Why Groups Love a Championship Week
A U.S. Open week is rarely one day. Practice rounds early in the week, championship rounds Thursday through Sunday, dinners in Carmel, maybe a round of your own somewhere along the way. When a family, a foursome, or a host with clients travels in one comfortable cabin, the conversation never has to pause for a second car. Golf bags ride along without a trunk puzzle, and nobody texts "where are you?" from a parking lot.
That togetherness is the real luxury. The vehicle is simply what makes it easy.
What the Official Sources Say Today
Here is what is confirmed right now, directly from the organizers:
- Dates: Championship rounds June 17–20, 2027; championship week June 14–20, 2027, per the official Pebble Beach U.S. Open hub.
- Tickets: Available through the official U.S. Open ticket page.
- Premium packages: Pebble Beach's hub describes currently published premium packages, some of which include resort accommodations, hospitality, preferred dining, and specified parking or shuttle benefits. Those benefits belong to the exact qualifying package — an ordinary ticket, or any vehicle you arrive in, does not come with them.
- Future venues: Pebble Beach's place in the rotation is confirmed on the USGA's future sites page.
What is not fully published yet is the detailed 2027 transportation picture — general parking, shuttles, drop-off procedures, and any vehicle-size guidance. The USGA's ticket FAQ is the place to watch for parking answers, and final guidance should be rechecked closer to championship week. Plans change; official pages are the source of truth.
Making the Week Feel Effortless
The groups who enjoy these weeks most tend to share a few habits — none of them complicated.
Arrive once, settle in. Fly in, load once, and let the same familiar cabin carry the week: airport to resort, resort to dinner, dinner to evening plans. No rental-car counters mid-trip, no splitting the group across vehicles.
Keep the gear simple. Golf bags, a change of clothes for cool coastal evenings, a charger for every phone. A well-designed passenger van swallows all of it without turning the cabin into a luggage maze.
Let the drive be downtime. The stretch along the peninsula is part of why people come. Comfortable seats and a quiet cabin turn transfers into the conversations people remember.
Plan for repeat trips. Pebble Beach is on the U.S. Open rotation, and premium golf weekends — Scottsdale, Pinehurst, Augusta-area trips — fill a calendar fast. For many buyers, the first championship week is rarely the last.
A Note on Expectations
A luxury van is transportation, not a credential. It does not include parking privileges, course access, or hospitality — those come only from the tickets and packages you buy through official channels. What ownership changes is everything around the event: how relaxed the group feels arriving, how easy the evenings are, and how willing everyone is to do it again next year.
Thinking Beyond One Week
If your calendar already holds golf weekends, client hosting, and family trips, it may be worth asking whether the vehicle should be yours rather than arranged trip by trip. Browse our current vans for sale, or read how a full calendar is the best reason to own a luxury van. If you'd rather spec exactly the cabin you want, our custom van builder walks through the options.
The 2027 U.S. Open will be here before you know it. However you get to Pebble Beach, make the journey part of the week — not the price of admission.
