A Chiefs weekend is more than the hours between kickoff and the final whistle. It is the conversation on the way, the familiar faces settling into their seats and the shared replay of the game on the ride home. For a family that goes often—or a business owner who enjoys hosting clients—a luxury passenger van can make that whole day feel connected.
One ride, one shared occasion
Separate cars divide a group before the day has really started. One comfortable cabin gives grandparents, grown children and friends the same beginning: a favorite playlist, room to settle in and a conversation that does not have to wait until everyone finds each other.
Coats, a cooler and the small extras of a long afternoon matter, too. A van with the right seating and usable storage can keep those things nearby without making every passenger share a seat with a bag. The best layout is the one that suits your usual group, not simply the one with the largest advertised passenger count.
For client hosts, the appeal is similarly human. A welcoming ride gives people time to talk outside the meeting room. It turns travel into part of the invitation rather than an awkward gap between appointments.
Pick the weekend that fits your people
As of October 11, the Chiefs’ official 2026 schedule lists these remaining scheduled home games. Times below are Central Time; schedules can change, so use the official page for updates.
| Opponent | Scheduled home date | Kickoff, CT |
|---|---|---|
| Los Angeles Chargers | October 18 | 3:25 p.m. |
| New York Jets | November 8 | Noon |
| Arizona Cardinals | November 22 | Noon |
| New England Patriots | December 21 | 7:15 p.m. |
| San Francisco 49ers | December 27 | 3:25 p.m. |
| Las Vegas Raiders | Week 18 | Date and time TBD |
An afternoon game lends itself to an easy shared lunch. An evening kickoff can feel like a full occasion for clients or friends. Choose around the people traveling with you, then leave some breathing room around the stadium portion of the day.
Let a little arrival planning buy you a calmer day
The official Chiefs parking information requires advance parking purchase, says cash is not accepted at tollbooths and notes that parking generally opens 4.5 hours before kickoff. Oversized, Bus and RV arrangements depend on how many spaces the vehicle occupies. Check the exact van and intended pass with the stadium rather than assuming a passenger van qualifies for a particular parking category.
For a picnic before the game, the official tailgating rules allow tailgating in all Truman Sports Complex lots, but a parking space cannot be used solely for equipment and commercial tailgate setups are prohibited. Keeping the gathering simple leaves more of the afternoon for enjoying your company.
The return trip belongs to the weekend, too
After a loud stadium and a long walk back, a comfortable seat and familiar company can be the day's quiet luxury. There is no need to coordinate several cars or retell the same story across three separate rides.
Owning a larger vehicle also brings real commitments: a place to keep it, ongoing care and a driver comfortable with its size. Those tradeoffs make the strongest sense when Chiefs games are part of a wider pattern of family outings, weekends away and client days—not the van's only job.
